We hope you will join us for Sunday School at 10 am and our Worship Service at 11 am.   We have fun, safe spaces for everyone in the family.  At 10 am, our Sunday School curriculum starts at birth and continues for all generations. The easiest access to Sunday School classes is to park on the Valley Drive side of the building and enter through the atrium entrance.

11:00 a.m. Worship Service in the Sanctuary 

Elementary School age kids should be picked up from the 3rd floor before 11:00 a.m., to accompany their parents to the 11:00 church service. During the service, we have “Moments with the Children” which is a mini-children’s sermon that happens before the regular sermon. The kids typically come sit together at the front of the church (if they want) and listen, then go to Children’s Church on the 3rd Floor for the remainder of the service. Parents are welcome to accompany their kids to the front or kids can stay in their seats. Feel free to walk with your child to Children’s Church if you want to check it out! 

• Blessing of the bookbags – bring your bookbag and we will pray over it during the 11:00 a.m. service
• Pastor Steven kicks off a new sermon series on “Bless This Family”
• Join our missions team as we collect back to school supplies for City Park Elementary – drop off in the atrium

Also on August 6th – A new 4 week Adult Sunday School series – “What Does It Mean to Be United Methodist?”
The Open Table Sunday School Class invites you to join them 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. for the four Sundays in August as Pastor Steven teaches a class titled “What Does it Mean to Be United Methodist?” This class is great for newbies and for those who want a refresher! The Open Table Adult Sunday School Class has singles, married couples, and families with kids! All are welcome. Location: 2nd floor, side hallway, room 2110.

On Wednesday, September 6th at 5:00 p.m., we will have informational booths in the atrium about all of our programs – Sunday School Classes, children’s programs, Bible Studies, recreation ministries, serving opportunities, and missions. Plus, there will be tailgate games for the whole family to enjoy! You can learn all about DFUMC and where you can plug in.  You do not want to miss this!
