JESUS, RESET MY VOICE

This powerful message invites us into a transformative journey of resetting our voices for God's purposes. Building on the foundation of renewed minds and hearts, we discover that what fills our hearts inevitably flows from our mouths. Jesus teaches us through the metaphor of a tree that good fruit comes from good roots—our words are simply the fruit of what's planted deep within us. The sobering truth is that we'll give account for every word we speak, yet this isn't meant to paralyze us with fear but to awaken us to the power we've been given. Throughout our daily lives, God orchestrates what we might call 'kairos moments'—divine appointments embedded in our ordinary time where we're given opportunities to speak life, hope, and truth. The beautiful promise from Matthew 10 assures us that we don't need to be eloquent or brilliant; the Holy Spirit will give us the right words at the right time. We're challenged to pray a simple but profound prayer: 'God, if your thoughts for me outnumber the grains of sand, then your thoughts for this person outnumber the grains of sand—give me just one of your thoughts to speak to them.' This shifts our interactions from transactional to transformational, allowing us to become vessels of God's blessing in everyday encounters.
