Our Church Reaches
Further Than You Might Know
Every Sunday, people near and far join us online. Here's who's been with us in 2026.
January - October 25, 2026 · 52 services · Traditional (+ snow days, + Modern from Sept 6)
The Numbers at a Glance
These are three separate counts from three separate platforms. The same person may watch on more than one - so we never add them together.
These aren't clicks or accidental scroll-pasts. A "viewer" on our website is someone who opened the stream and watched. A YouTube viewer watched long enough that YouTube registered it as meaningful. A Facebook viewer stayed for at least a full minute of the service.
Every Sunday, people who can't be in the building - whether due to travel, illness, distance, or life - are finding a way to worship with us. These numbers tell that story.
Starting Labor Day weekend (September 6, 2026): the totals above now include the 9:30am Modern Service alongside Traditional. Because the same person could tune into either service, we combine Traditional and Modern into one weekly figure per platform, but keep the two services' individual numbers noted alongside every week from September forward.

Website, YouTube & Facebook viewers · by Sunday
Sunday by Sunday
All three platforms, side by side, for each Sunday we have full data. Older weeks only show a Website bar because that's the only number we were logging per-Sunday at the time - YouTube and Facebook are tracked per Sunday going forward, alongside the year-to-date totals. Hover or tap a bar for the sermon title, service, and any notes - starting Sept 6, dual-service weeks also break out Traditional vs. Modern numbers right in the tooltip.
Three ways to watch
Where People Are Tuning In
Our services stream simultaneously on three platforms every Sunday. Each platform measures viewership a little differently - here's what the numbers actually mean. Starting Labor Day weekend (September 6, 2026), the 9:30am Modern Service joined the 11:00am Traditional Service on all three, so these figures now track both services combined.
Behind the numbers
Moments That Stood Out
Numbers are meaningful when there are real people behind them. Here are six things from the data that are worth knowing.
When the Roads Closed, People Found Another Way
Our two snow day Sundays - January 25 and February 1 - drew the largest online audiences of the entire year. Both services were streamed, and combined viewership was more than four times a typical Sunday. When people couldn't get to church, they showed up anyway.
Nine Sundays in a Row from Salt Lake City
From January 4 through March 22, a viewer 1,800 miles away in Salt Lake City, Utah tuned in every single Sunday without missing one. We don't know who they are, but we know they chose to be here week after week.
Ten People in Northern Virginia on the Same Sunday
On one Sunday in April, ten viewers in Ashburn, Virginia - just outside Washington DC - watched at the same time. That doesn't happen by accident. Someone in that community shared the stream and brought people with them.
A Consistent Audience Along I-75
Chattanooga, Ringgold, Marietta, Woodstock, Buford, Alpharetta - cities along the I-75 corridor south of Dalton - show up in our viewership data week after week. Over 145 viewers this year have come from this stretch of road. These may be former members, family of current members, or simply people who found us and kept coming back.
Our Services Have Traveled Internationally
Viewers in the United Kingdom, Mexico, and now Brazil have joined our services this year. None of this was advertised or targeted. Someone personally shared a sermon, and it traveled across an ocean.
A New Chapter Begins
July 12 marked Don Landen's first Sunday as Senior Pastor of Dalton First. People tuned in from across Georgia and beyond to be part of the moment - including viewers from Charlotte, Birmingham, and the north Georgia mountains. This congregation extends far beyond our building, and it was there to welcome him.
A Sunday to Remember Together
June 21 marked Dr. Steven Usury's final Sunday with Dalton First before his next chapter of ministry. People near and far tuned in online to be part of that moment - a reminder that this online congregation isn't just watching a service. They are walking through the life of this church alongside us.
"Wards Are Watching!" and "Great Job Matthew!"
Real comments left on our Facebook stream this year. Real families checking in. Real people cheering on the people they know and love on screen. This is not just an audience. It is a congregation - and it's larger than the one that fits in our building.
