About Me
Music has been my passion as long as I can remember. My work at Dalton First involves accompanying the sanctuary choir, as well as playing service music every Sunday. After completing music degrees in Tennessee and Kentucky I found myself in the city of Chattanooga where I work as a Professor of Music at Chattanooga State Community College and also play principal keyboard with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra. I love spending time with my wife and daughter, reading, rehearsing, and working on music arrangements for solo piano as well as the chamber trio I am a member of. I hope that my music accomplishes the purpose which J. S. Bach expressed 300 years ago: “The aim and final end of all music should be none other than
the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.”
the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.”
