STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN

On October 4th, we began our annual stewardship campaign, “There’s No Place Like Dalton First.” Pledge Sunday was October 25, but it's not too late to make your pledge.

The Stairway of 2026 Giving

Will you grow one generosity step in 2027?

Find your step

Type what you give and we will light up your step. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere.

205 giving units on 12 stepsTap a step for more

Each big number is how many giving units are giving at that step. Every step is shown per month and per year.

Did you know?
More than half of Dalton First's budget supports the staff who lead and care for our congregation, while another 29% supports the buildings and grounds where we gather. The rest funds ministry programs, administration, and our connection to the broader United Methodist Church. Every slice of this chart helps make ministry possible!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Our Annual Friendsgiving Event will be held in Famber Hall at Dalton First UMC. This tradition is when our Middle and High School Students invite a friend (or a friend's church) and cook or bring a dish to share. Our spread of delicious food is quite legendary.

CHRISTMAS AT DALTON FIRST

Celebrate Advent with one of our church’s cherished traditions on Nov 29, 12:30–3pm! Enjoy a free lunch, then create an Advent wreath and devotional guide together as a family. Open to all ages and stages. This is a wonderful way to prepare your heart and home
for Christmas!
Your gift will support Sharing is Caring, the annual Christmas initiative hosted by the Salvation Army in partnership with United Way, which allows parents in need to shop and choose gifts their children will love. Thank you for helping brighten the holidays for families in our community!
December 9th is our last Wonderful Wednesday of the year, and we are calling it Cozy Christmas. Join us for dinner at 5:00, followed by Christmas performances at 6:00 featuring our own church family! Singers, dancers, musicians, kids, and adults are all welcome. Santa will also make an appearance. Come enjoy or sign up on our website to perform!
Join us for an interactive worship service filled with Christmas carols and readings! We will study God's word from creation to the first Christmas story.
The Blue Christmas Service is offered especially for those hurting during the holidays. It's sometimes called The Longest Night Service, held on the Winter Solstice. If you have suffered the death of a family member or friend; if you have experienced some other loss - a divorce, a financial setback, a loss of health - or if you just feel down in the midst of the holidays, this service is for you. We gather in the darkest season to remember God is good. God is strong. God is near to bring light to our gloom.
