Pastor Don will offer a six-week class on United Methodist faith and theology using the book, Recapturing the Wesleys’ Vision by Paul Wesley Chilcote, as a guide. Participants will read approximately 20 pages each week and discuss what they are learning on Wednesdays. Whether you are a life-long Methodist or new to the faith, this class is a great way to connect with our historic faith and one another. Books may be purchased in advance on Amazon.

Hayley Pollard leads this teen Bible study featuring Bible-based conversations, meaningful friendships, and encouragement for everyday life. Bring a friend and grow in your faith in a welcoming, relaxed environment. We meet in room 2104.

Slow down, stretch, and make space to reconnect with God through gentle movement and prayer. This restorative Holy Yoga class, led by certified instructor Rosa Coker, focuses primarily on seated and lying poses, with plenty of gentle stretching and time to relax.
All experience levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one.

The annual Smiley Gregg benefit concert is coming up on September 27, 2026 at 4:00pm at Dalton First UMC. This year's theme is SANCTUARY: How God can provide a sanctuary for us through our adoration, creation, provision, refuge, relationships, and our giving. From works by Handel, Hagenberg, Gjello, and Michael Jackson, this concert is going to be an unforgettable experience. PLUS... we will be joined by the Ladies of Lee!

We want to show our love for the Dalton Community by going ALL OUT with our Trunk or Treat for Hunger this year. We have set a goal of having 40 Trunks. Set-up will begin at 3:30pm, trunks will open at 5pm. Each person or group will be assigned their own parking spot that will be marked by sidewalk chalk prior to set-up time.  Don't be afraid to get creative.

As always, L’Abri performances are free and open to the public, as we share the gift of music with all who can come.
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound. Our program this Fall is a collection of new arrangements of favorite hymns from years ago. These are songs we grew up with, and remember and cherish to this day. And it is special to hear the pure music behind the old familiar lyrics, as different combinations of instruments, rather than words, give a fresh feeling to each verse.
Come, bring family and friends, especially those who have never experienced a live symphony concert.
