Better Together: A Church for Everyone
Scripture: Acts 2:42–47
In Acts 2, we see the birth of the early church—a Spirit-filled community where people worshiped, prayed, shared life, and met each other’s needs. The result? God added to their number daily, and they found favor with the people around them.

Here’s what we see in Acts 2:
- God’s Favor: The early church found favor with outsiders and grew daily.
- True Community: It wasn’t about individuals—it was a group devoted to life together.
- God’s Dream: The church was God’s answer to isolation, designed to offer salvation and authentic relationships.
Three Key Reminders:
- You were made for relationships.
God said, “It’s not good for man to be alone.” We all need community—and the church is where life-giving relationships can flourish. - God designed the church as a network for community.
When church works the way God intended, it’s powerful and life-changing. It invites everyone into God’s family, offering hope, healing, and belonging. - You can’t fulfill God’s plan alone.
We grow, serve, reach, and worship better together. The church should be one of the biggest tools in your spiritual toolbox.
